Exact setlists during the first tours are still sketchy. Old Yardbirds' live staples such as Train Kept a Rollin', Dazed and Confused, White Summer and likely For Your Love were performed.

Sheffield University gig

I was 17 at the time and the Union was the place to see blues bands such as Chicken Shack and some US artists such as Champion Jack Dupree.

I'd been told that I would really like this band because it was a new version of the Yardbirds. Imagine the disappointment I felt when the band didn't feature Jeff Beck! The audience was basically blues purists and the band did not go down well at all. I thought the singer was just weird and his high pitched voice irritating. I knew this band, Led Zeppelin or whatever, would never be a success.
