20 seconds of big time!!

I was 16 and played bass in the opening act ’Uffe Sylvesters Badekar’ at the Led Zeppelin afternoon concert. Bonham was putting up his kit behind a curtain. Our band, a three piece, started out the intro of ‘Dear Mister Fantasy’…. our drummer were not supposed to join us for the first verse. After a couple of bars of just guitar, vocals and bass Jon Bonham joined us with a ‘Whole Lotta Love’ like drum fill and some heavy bars. Having never heard that kind of drumming before, I just couldn’t believe my ears! A great moment I’ll never forget! Later we saw the Zeppelin show and couldn’t believe what we heard. Bonham played like something from another planet.
