The first band I ever saw
The first band I ever saw was LZ at The Cherry Tree in Welwyn Garden City - what a rock baptism! And all for the princely sum of seven shillings and six pence (thirty seven and a half pence to the decimal generation). Nearly forty years on and a number of concerts under my belt, I still think it was the best gig I've attended.
