At last! Confirmation that it was indeed Led Zeppelin I saw for ten bob (Or was it twelve-and-six?) in the back room of a run-down boozer on the A3. So many people have said "Oh yeah?" over the years when I claimed to have done, I was beginning to doubt it myself.
If memory serves - it was nearly 40 years ago, and I was 17 - the first album had just come out in the US, and they played it to about 120 people. Much hair, many trench coats.
