Kinsmen Field House

Setlist:

Setlists during this tour include: Train Kept a Rollin', I Can't Quit You Baby, Dazed and Confused, White Summer / Black Mountainside, You Shook Me, How Many More Times, Communication Breakdown

Notes:

Originally scheduled for July 25th. Vanilla Fudge is also on the bill, who close the show. Carmine Appice jokingly takes John Bonham's place for the end of How Many More Times.(interview here )

Press Review: "It would have been better if Vanilla Fudge had played first. Their music's more intellectual and more jazz-influenced than the gutsy Zeppelin's.

Tuesday's show at the Kinsmen Field House was probably the best of the year and the size of the turnout probably caught the promoters - Concerts West of Seattle and Dick Lodmell - by surprise. There weren't enough chairs to go around the crowd of 5,000 but otherwise, the concert was the smoothest and best-organized rock show here in a long time." (Edmonton Journal, 8/1/69)

I was there with Ken

I was there with Ken Blackley. I remember the oohs and ahs that went up from the crowd of about 2,000 people when Jimmy Page took out his bow for the middle section of Dazed and Confused. I remember also that Led Zeppelin jammed with Vanilla Fudge toward the end of the concert.
