Notes:

Led Zeppelin are billed as "The Nobs", due to an irate relative of the Zeppelin airship family, Eva Von Zeppelin, who threatens to sue the group if they use their name in her home country.

Jimmy Page: "Then we shall call ourselves The Nobs when we go to Copenhagen, the whole thing is absurd. The first time we played we invited her backstage to meet us, to see how we were nice young lads. We calmed her down but on leaving the studio, she saw our LP cover of an airship in flames and she exploded! I had to run and hide. She just blew her top." (Melody Maker)

Concert in Copenhagen 1970

I was there, 12 years old (wonder how my parents allowed me!). My first rock concert. I went with my good friend Morten Klimer, and we had a fantastic experience. I still remember the band playing Whole Lotta Love which was a track from the album to come as well as Good Times, Bad Times and many more. I have ever since been a Led Zeppelin fan. The same year, I went to concerts with Canned Heat, Muddy Waters and even had bought tickets to the, unfortunallely canceled concert with The Doors. Furthermore, we went to many concerts with mant Danish bands. What a way to become a teenager! But the concert with "The Nobs" outperformed them all on a cold winters night.
All the memories flushed as I went to a local concert with Danish (gifted) Led Zeppelin Jam two days ago in Randers. My ears are still ringing from tinnitus, but I felt fourty years younger for 90 minutes! Even the teenagers were captured by the heavy rythm section and, of course, everybody sang on loud while the band played "Stairway To Heaven"
