First of many concerts

I always thought they played their first Indianapolis show in 1969. I remember that all of my friends were going to Muncie to see Three Dog Night, but I was headed to Indianapolis. I was on the floor in row K, seat 21. As the other reviews state, it was a long show. What I didn't see was any mention of the last encore. There must have been only 700 fans still in the building when they came back out. i've never forgotten it because they played for another half-hour and none of the songs were on their records. It wasn't until the BBC sessions were released that I heard them again. Most were old blue's standards and british bar songs. 43 years have passed and I've seen hundreds of shows, but nothing will ever compare with that night. I just watched Celebration Day and decided to look up when the show was.
