Led Zeppelin's first date in June brought them to Iceland participating in a cultural exchange program representing the UK. An audience of over 4,000 attended this concert, running over two hours.
Peter Grant did not travel with them and mentions in the UK press that a film crew would document their visit. Despite this plan, only local news footage captures the group's arrival at the airport, hotel and short clip of Dazed and Confused. Robert Plant is also interviewed on the day of the show. Some of this news footage is included on the 2003 official dvd.

I remember being just a ten...
I remember being just a ten year old rock rookie, stalking around the place soaking in the ambiance. I lived on the westside of Reykjavik in those days and traveling all the way to Laugardals Hall was quite a unique and cool experience for me at the time. This gig goes down in Icelands Rock memoribilia, specially b.coz of the Immigrant Song. Thank you guys ! Geiri Meiri Purrkur, a fan
