venue

This venue is actually known as the State Fairgrounds Arena. It was all we had in OKC in those days. They hosted rodeos and hockey games and some great rock shows back in THE day. I was only 14 at the time and my parents wouldn't let me go alone, so my 17 year old sister and her boyfriend had to take me with them.

We had the $4.50 tickets so we were practically in the rafters and of course the acoustics sucked, but I remember seeing a great show - and that my ears rang for days.
