The Encore....

This was the first concert for which I skipped out of school to get tickets - it was a Friday when the tickets went on sale and I only had Economics - the teacher was cool so I got away with it (never told my parents and this is the first time I've gone public!).
I have the program still but not the ticket (tho' I kept it for a long time).
I particularly remember this gig because I stayed after the concert was over and the Dome had this very officious staff who brought the house lights up and tried to get everyone out. But I stayed and joined a few people hanging about the stage... then Robert Plant came out without a microphone and sang Christmas songs with us... I recall Jingle Bells, anyway - can't remember what else... but it was a moment I'll never forget (even if the songs he sung aren't entirely clear).
