LZ concert 7/28/73

We were very worried at the time of the show because the rumor was that the group was going to blow off the Garden and go to Watkins Glen. Thank God that didn't come to pass. They did show up and played a blazing set. I will never forget the beginning. The stage was in total blackness. We were sitting directly across from the stage at the opposite end of the Garden. When Rock And Roll began, we were assaluted by the lights and the huge sound. I was physically pushed back in my seat! It was unbelievable. I will never forget my one & only Led Zeppelin show. As it turns out, this was the night of the famous robbery of their safe deposit box at the Drake. I still have my ticket stub and will never give it up.
