The gigs at MSG are filmed and recorded for the group's feature movie, The Song Remains the Same, and accompanying soundtrack album, as well as the 2003 dvd. A remastered edition of the film & soundtrack are released in November 2007.

I saw all 3 nights

Peter Grant and I were friends. I was backstage for all 3 shows. It was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen. Jimmy gave me his bow string on the last night. Partied with them at the Plaza. One of my favs was kasmir (in 1975) when the lights changed. Awesome. The long velvet robes they changed into when they ran off stage to the black limo that got them out before the crowd stopped begging for more. 2 3 hour concerts for nothing. People slept overnite to get tickets . Wow. What a rush
