Led Zeppelin - Houston, Texas - 1975

Led Zeppelin 1975. The first time I ever saw a concert where the sound of the show was better than the albums. The 8 o'clock show started late - at 8:25 - with no opening act. They pummeled the audience with brutal musical mastery until the fire marshals pulled the plug at 12:15 AM. Fifteen minutes short of a 4 hour performance!

SHOWCO's sound system actually performed in full hall surround sound from two suspended stacks over the stage. John Bonham had individual phase shifter triggers on all of the skins on his massive drum kit and when he circled the drum kit during Kashmir, the sound was like bundles of snakes circling the room.

The 3rd of 4 times to see the full band '71, '73, '75, '77 (The famous Dragon Snake show at the Summit)
