Attended this concert while serving in the Army stationed in Nuremburg. 1972 - 1976. Lots of energy at this show they played a full three hours. It was standing room only. Small venue. Definately remember Jimmy Page playing his guitar with a violin bow.

Although the sound is borderline good/very good, the show is hot! Robert's voice starts out a little rough but develops into a devastating howl, and the band is playing as well as any night on this tour. The songs are extended, changed and played with such ease that it's frightening. Check out the savage Dazed And Confused, and the amazing medley. Ramble On reference is nothing more than Jimmy strumming the intro section of the song and Robert adding the line but it rocks!

U.S. Army 175th Aviation AH  Illesheim Base.  Remember it well, despite the smoke.

I was stationed at HHC 1st Bdg !st Armd Div at Illesheim from Sept 72 to Apr 1975.  I had a 250 gram cookie of trip green hash.  Enjoyed that show so much.  It remains the best rock show I ever saw.  Thanks you guys for not only the music, but inspairation it gave me in my quest to play guitar!!!!
