Notes

Newspaper review: We want to give the fans a good kick, "said guitarist Jimmy Page of the rock group Led Zeppelin prior to the Germany tour, which led the well-paid quartet to Hamburg yesterday.

The music hall was completely sold out. The name Led Zeppelin has not lost its appeal despite the flattening pop wave. But towards the end of the concert, many fans left the hall prematurely. Because of the music of the group was not much to hear.

Tints subsided in the deafening noise. The phonetic level of Led Zeppelin music would have been enough for a 20,000-man stadium? In the relatively small music hall, the sound level was well above the pain threshold for most pieces.

Nevertheless, the youthful audience thanked each piece with much applause. Joyful applause greeted the first bars of every Led Zeppelin hit. After all, most of them, who sometimes kept their ears to it, knew the true sound of this music, at least from records. [hk / 3-73]
