I was a Sophomore.... in OC (Estancia 76)...
I just turned 16..... my very first concert ever.

My Dad let me borrow his car (God Bless that man) and I drove with 6 or 7 people in the car from Costa Mesa to LA. We smoke reefer the whole way there and as a result, I have a small recollection of the entire evening with the greatest band of all time..... Led Zeppelin.
BUTTT..... one thing fer sure; It was freakin Awesome!
A life altering event for good or bad..... but it was incredible.

My first concert was the best.....
Led Zeppelin........
In concert and beyond.......
Rock ON!

I was there with a bunch of friends from El Rancho High School. By far the best concert I've EVER seen.

I was there in 1973 at the Forum, I was 15 and went with my boyfriend from Mark Keppel high school, in his jacked up yellow Mustang. I wore my white hip huggers, thick leather belt and my San Felipe shirt. It was so cool, and now in retrospect even cooler. The thing Page did with the bow on his guitar was mind blowing — Debbie

i started listening to zeppelin back in 1968 believe it or not i was 4yrs old. when my brother lou came home from veitnam in 1970 he ask me if i liked the jackson 5 i said hell no i like red zepwin i couldnt even pronounce the groups name but they were my favorite. at the age of 10 i got a ledzeppelin tatto on my right shoulder my mom like to shit. im sorry if i dont spell some of the words correct but it is from years of abuse sorry . i also started droppin acid at age 11 among many more drugs boy im glad i am out of that cloud seriously im glad that part of my life is over.getting back to zeppelin they are still my favorite and i missed seeing them because john paul jones died man that seemed like the worst day of my life or so i thought well i am going to keep on rockin even though i am a grandad and all you zeppelin fans out there you have great taste. rock on from steven spiegel

I was there. 15 years old. Drove up from San Pedro, with a bunch of my friends and their older brothers (who could drive). This is where I discovered that Georgia Love (her real name) thought I was pretty hot (I was third on a list of five), and ushered me to the seat next to her. As a result, I do not remember much about the show, and I ended up losing my ride and having to take a cab home. ($15, as I recall, which I took from my parents' dresser while they slept. Rock 'n roll!!!) It was John Bonham's birthday, and I remember the band throwing him into the audience. The seats weren't so good, and the pot was pretty stale, but I had no idea of the bragging rights years later.

Pretty sure I was at that concert, too!! I was Alhambra High, class of '73, and was driving a white/orange two-tone '56 Chevy (convertible!!) with a blue-bondo'd right front fender. Were THOSE the days ... or what??
