Japan - 1972 Tour

The band returned to perform in Japan for a second time on October 2nd. With recording for Houses of the Holy completed, a new set was introduced featuring Over the Hills and Far Away, Dancing Days, The Song Remains the Same (titled "Zep" and "The Campaign"), The Rain Song, and occasionally The Ocean. Rock and Roll would remain as the show opener until 1977.

The temperamental mellotron is first used by John Paul Jones during this tour, recreating orchestras and strings on Stairway to Heaven and Rain Song.
