SWAN SONG RELEASES LED ZEPPELIN FEATURE FILM
STARRING JIMMY PAGE, ROBERT PLANT, JOHN PAUL JONES, AND JOHN BONHAM DISTRIBUTED BY WARNER BROTHERS

TWO RECORD SET SOUNDTRACK RELEASED ON SWAN SONG
CHARITY PREMIERES TO BENEFIT THE SAVE THE CHILDREN FEDERATION

October 8, 1976 - The long wait is over -- Led Zeppelin comes to the cinema in THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME. A motion picure record of the group's explosive 1973 Madison Square Garden performances, THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME captures the being and essence of the four people who make Led Zeppelin the most exciting and durable of rock groups.

A film directed by Peter Clifton and Joe Massot, produced by Swan Song, Inc., with Peter Grant executive producer, the Warner Brothers movie has taken three painstakingly precise years of work to reach the cinema.

Incorporating live concert footage, fantasy sequences, backstage glimpses of the band, and a personal view of them at ease at home, THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME is a rare and human look at four rock musicians: Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and John "Bonzo" Bonham. The film was their idea, their project totally, and it is their special way of giving their millions of friends what they have been clamoring for -- a personal and private tour of Led Zeppelin.

Page has been at work on the soundtrack for three years, refining and honing, matching film and sound to perfection. Released as a Swan Song album, the two record set ships platinum the second week of October.

The movie opens October 20 in New York (Cinema 1) and October 22 in Los Angeles (Fox Wilshire), San Fransisco (Metro 1), Chicago (McClurg Court), Dallas (North Park 2), Toronto (Varsity 2), Boston (Cheri 1), and Atlanta (Loew's 12 Oaks 1).

A limited number of tickets will be available to the public for the premieres -October 19 in New York and October 21 nationwide. All proceeds will go to the Save The Children Federation. Premiere tickets go on sale at 9:00 AM, October 16, at the respective Box Offices.

THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME reveals the members of Led Zeppelin as they really are and, for the first time, the world has a front row seat on Led Zeppelin.
