Whispering Bob Harris sits down for a chat with "the singer in the best rock and roll band in the world" - Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant. Bob meets Robert as the audience are entering the Vorst Nationaal in Brussels for the show. They chat about getting back on the road again, how Led Zeppelin plan their tours, and the problem with finding the right size of venue to play in, given the amount of public demand. Bob asks about the new album, Physical Graffiti - the band's first double album - which is due to be released in a few weeks. Robert discusses the band's new record album, Swan Song Records, and the documentary film of the American tour, The Song Remains the Same. Bob asks why Zeppelin release fewer singles in the UK than they do elsewhere, and what they make of the current state of the UK singles chart. Would the band consider doing solo projects - and will Swan Song Records allow them to do this?   - BBC Archive

From The Old Grey Whistle Test, originally broadcast on BBC Two, 17 January, 1975.
