Press Review: Zeppelin Zip Just Sends Them
A Bristol audience got their first taste of Led Zeppelin and were taken on an exciting avant garde music trip at the Colston Hall. Master guitarist, Jimmy Page, set the mood with a dramatic guitar solo which gold wild applause. At times, the music was incredibly disjointed but came together again to form a crescendo. [P. I have a recollection of seeing the band at the Fairfield Halls in Croydon in 69/70. I had seen them in Cardiff and Bristol. Was I hallucinating or is it true? I am pretty sure but it’s not mentioned on this site. Love to find out. Thanks Andy.
