The comment about the drumstick reminded me that my Jimmy Page guitar string was thrown away by my mom. I dumped my memory suitcase on the floor and I guess she didn't see the memories. I was in the 10th row, not sure which concert since I saw all but the first. The guitar string landed across my arms and the purple microdot enhanced the experience. I saw probably one-hundred concerts in Denver including The Doors but Zeppelin was and is the best. I listened to the entire boxed set drving home from a business trip last week.

This concert is one of the better from this tour, sadly only the last half is available. All songs presented here are playing with passion and energy. A massive version of Heartbreaker leads to the bombastic Whole Lotta Love that contains very nice rendition of John Lee Hoker's Boogie Chillun. A hurricane Communication Breakdown closing this amazing show.

A friend's relative worked for the Denver Coliseum, and we got 6th row, center tickets for $7.50 apiece. This concert was INCREDIBLE!! One of the fellas in our group, BOB SARLO, caught one of JOHN BONHAM'S drumsticks when he tossed them to the crowd.

I hope BOB still has the stick...WHAT A SOUVENIR!!

I was a thirteen year old child at my first concert. The Houses of the Holy show changed my view of life. I remember it as though it happened last week. I will travel to whatever city necessary to see a reunion performance.

I used to rig for Barry and this show was awesome from Thirty feet overhead! ZOSO had just debuted and Zep really had a soft spot for the first American stage they ever preformed on.One of my favorite Denver concerts along with the Floyd boys, and the original Who...to me this was like hitting the rock and roll trifecta.Rock on!

I was in the Air Force at Lowrey AFB at the time in Denver. A friend was attending Denver University (we grew up in Rochester, NY) and we decided to take in this show. Freaking amazing concert. Little did we know then that this tour would wind up being made (in)famous in the movie The Song Remains the Same.

5/25/73 I'll never forget

I was there and somehow thru the 2 hits of windowpane still remember. They were gods to us at the time. My friend & I were the last ones to leave the coliseum, we watched the mirrored ball spinning until they finally shut it off and 2 denver cops said I think the shows completely over and asked us to leave.

Indeed one of my first show with my older brother. I was but 11 for this gig, the volume was monstrous. Wish I has been a bit older to really appreciate what I was experiencing, but was still profoundly affected!
