I was only 16 at the time and in the space of the previous 12 months I had seen The Who,Deep Purple and Black Sabbath, but Led Zeppelin topped them all. I saw them again but the thrill of seeing these four guys for the first time will live with me forever.

I saw this concert and the memory will live with me forever - the highlight for me was Jimmy Page using the bow on his guitar and flicking sound out to all four corners, which was unique, and blew us all away.
Led Zep were the best ever and as years pass I get reminders of just how lucky I was to have seen them! - The Song didn't Remain The Same - it just got Better!!

The song "Thank you" was played as the last encore. Even though it was so long ago i remember it vividly. Also, at the start of "Rock and Roll" Plant's mic failed and the band continued with the intro until a replacement became available.
Plant also played the drums for a bit before the rest of the band came on for that last encore.
"let that boy boogie woogie" was also part of the Whole lotta Love medley
An unforgetable evening

I went to that gig as a budding bass player determined to keep an eye on Jonesy. From the moment the lights went up on Rock and Roll, I never took my eyes off Page the whole night. I already knew he was a great guitar player, but I've never seen a showman before or since who could touch him.
Mesmerising, and for me, life changing. A Les Paul Copy was purchased round the corner in McCormack's the very next day :-)

Unfortunately, I was never privileged enough to actually see the mighty Led Zeppelin in concert here in America. But I recently finished a book called "Suzy, Led Zeppelin and Me" by Martin Millar and was able to experience the Glasgow concert vicariously through this book. He describes so accurately what Led Zeppelin meant to us. I passed my love of the band on to my youngest son who is 24 and a huge fan. He named his daughter Lilly Page after Jimmy.

I had the pleasure of being at this concert on the Sunday and the memory has lived with me forever.
When finnaly coming out of the concert hall the door man told us that they were not staying at the Central Hotel but they were going to the Royal.
Myself and 4 of the best friends I have ever had, hot footed down to the Royal. With only us there we thought we were waisting our time and just as we were about to give up Jimmy, Robert, John and John along with Peter Grant got out of a rather large car and we were so agast we never got autographs but have the memory One of my friends John shook Jimmys hand BRILLIANT

An excellent, powerful show in front of a really ecstatic crowd. The atmosphere is captured perfectly and the band plays very powerfully. Jimmy in particular is having an incredibly on night. Misty Mountain Hop leading into Since I've Been Loving You is great and dramatic and Dazed And Confused is a powerhouse performance.
