Note

News Report: Led Zeppelin soared, pardon the pun, into Dallas Memorial Auditorium earlier this week, with a capacity crowd sold out a good 24 hours before their Tuesday landing.

The evening was everything a Led Zeppelin fan could hope for. Even if lead singer Robert Plant was admittedly not in the finest voice that evening, his spirit and esprit d’corps of the Zeppelin crew more than compensated. Jimmy Page was in a wildly creative mood, handling the guitar with gutsy abandon.

Drummer John Bonham and organist John Paul Jones rounded out the meaty quartet. (by P. Wuntch, Dallas After Dark)
